About the Tribe
Conceived out of a small Northern Ontario town, Lil’Angel Tribe has big plans that include super cute weighted stuffed animals! It’s founder, Annie Pelletier, had an unrelenting feeling that she could do more to support bereaved parents. Since 1 in 4 pregnancies end in infant loss, the Lil’Angel Tribe was bound to easily find members.
Having experienced a miscarriage at 13 weeks gestation, Annie lives first hand with the grief that comes with being an Angel parent. For the past 6 years, she has made it her mission to support bereaved families through a local charity. Witnessing parents ache to connect with their angels, Annie knew she could put her crafty and sewing skills to good use. She also enlisted the help of her artistic daughters Maya and Micha.
By offering various goodies to help remember and celebrate our Lil’Angels, we hope to help families navigate through their grief. As a Registered Psychotherapist, Annie also recognizes that grief is a difficult but necessary process after the loss of a baby. That’s where the ‘Tribe’ aspect comes in! We hope to unite people so that no parent is left behind in their grief.
New: Comfort 5lbs Bears are now available for people struggling with anxiety, dementia, Alzheimer's, cancer, etc. Holding and caring for a Lil'Angel can bring a sense of comfort and peace.
